Going against what has become known as the norm, taking a traditional design and making it a contemporary design, the artist instead took an abstract image and through careful orchestration created a true transitional carpet. Pulling from his extensive knowledge of traditional imagery, subtle removal of color and movement came together and the artist used his imagination, coupled with remembered imagery to create this timeless treasure.
