The Artist started this creation using only elements found in the border of a traditional mamluk design. Through thoughtful manipulation, color was introduced in a most unusual way. The field colors and design colors are constantly trading places in this intricate arrangement, as if performing a perfectly choreographed dance. The extraordinary use of shade placement is distributed in a precise, yet whimsical way, creating this truly transitional presentation.
